Jerry's Hardware

West Boylston is unique because it is a town that includes a close knit community and a safe environment.  It is not a city where the people are rude and everyone is in a rush, it has nice people and a lot of history.  West Boylston includes the man-made reservoir, it has the Old Stone church, and other landmarks of interest.  And yet, along with the old things, it includes many new developments that attract the younger generation such as McDonalds, Wal-Mart, or the West Boylston Cinemas.

Photographs and Slide Show

I chose to photograph Jerry's Hardware because it is a small business, locally owned, and it looks rather inviting.  It is a place where the people are nice and it was not that awkward to ask if I could take pictures there. Usually, most people would just drive by and not even notice Jerry's because it is small but inside there is everything you could imagine for your hardware needs.

Jerry's is a small, local hardware store that is right on the edge of the West Boylston, Worcester line on West Boylston Street.  It is completely full of tools, pipes, paints, and much more.

The customers of Jerry's hardware tend to be more typically the older men who are doing projects either for business of just for fun, but more customers can include any one that is in need of supplies for almost any project.

This is one of the few aisles in Jerry's, yet it is packed full with everything you could imagine.

Jerry writes out signs so everyone knows where things are.

The aisles are so full it is tough to get around.

There is a whole shelf full of different kind of chains used in projects.

Jerry sells clocks and thermometers too.

All of the boxes, and shelves in this aisle are full of tools needed for any project.

Jerry is ready for the winter months, for they sell firewood to keep people warm and toasty.

Nobody wants to be left in the dark. Flashlights of every shape and size.

Jerry not only sells tools but also gloves and hats as well.

Jerry makes use of all space by even throwing some products for sale inside a small closet.

The sign you see when you pull into the front of Jerry's.

Where the famous "three keys for one dollar" is done.

Jerry's always has good prices.

Every type of nut and screw you can imagine is stocked up full.

Jerry even sells paints in all varieties of colors.

Paintbrushes to go with the paints.

Jerry sells anything you can imagine.

He sells all sorts of things for saws along with different saws.

Test the weight of anything you need by placing it inside of the scale.

Scrapers of all shapes and sizes.

Lower prices. Better Service. And the selling of shovels.

Labels on the shelves to know where to go.

Spray paints to match your very need.

Even some plumbing to help with those piping projects.

Everything, everywhere.
