We Made it to Wells!

This is a sign of one of the many hotels along Wells Beach in Maine. It is welcoming people to Wells Beach and is a very neat arrangement with the dolphins squirting water into the small pond.

For the kids

This picture shows an ice cream shop and the playground. These are both located just after the marsh ends when traveling on the road previously shown.

This is a store on the corner of the street that runs along the beach and the street that comes into the area over the marsh. There are many other store fronts right around this store.

This is it!

Here is a great shot of the street running along the beach. This street is an absolute mob scene during the summer because of all of the visitors. I loved the old buggie heading down the street, too, because it added a lot to the picture.

What a view

This photograph shows a happy couple enjoying the view of the beach and the ocean. It's a great place to just come, sit down, and forget about everything for while.

This picture shows two lifeguards walking the beach.

It just keeps going and going and going...

This photograph reveals a great view of the beach. It shows all of the many houses along the beach and how the houses keep going in the distance. It also shows the shore of the beach, which also keeps going into the distance with all of the houses. You can see that the cold temperatures of the water at this time of year doesn't stop some people from having a good time out on the beach.

Flying kites is one of the many fun things that people do on Wells Beach.

More Hotels

This is a picture of some of the hotel rooms that overlook the beach. For people who have rooms in this hotel, it is a great place to just lounge and watch the ocean.

This picture is one of my favorites because it shows water splashing up from a wave hitting some rocks.

That's Different...

This picture shows a boat traveling off of Wells Beach. The picture didn't come out so good, but when I made the contrast higher, the picture looked much more exciting.
