Assignment: Depth of field is when the photographer uses focus to determine focal point in a photograph. The photograph has a shallow depth of field when only part of the photograph, the focal point is in focus and the background or surroundings are out of focus. The photograph has a greater depth of field when all parts of the photograph is focused and all the objects in the photograph are of equal visual importance. On the school cameras, you can vary the depth of field by using the telephoto/wide angle (zoom in/zoom out) option. You need to photograph 3 different objects and show variations of depth of field in each. |
