Play Comps is a competition between the high school classes. Every year, each class works together, to create its own play. This includes writing an original script, creating scenery, designing costumes, and choreographing and staging the play. Play Comps has been a tradition for thirty-seven years at West Boylston. It takes place every year during the spring. The four classes compete to win different awards. However, most participants are just there for the experience. Play Comps is extremely popular because it is an experience that lasts a lifetime.
