"Against the backdrop of the events of September 11th, 2001, it is more imperative than ever that our nation dramatically steps up its global involvement and world leadership . . . . We have two remarkable miracles available to us - in every nation, every community, every place: hundreds of millions of young people who have been proven to be far more adept at using these new technologies than adults (the first time in history that youth know better than adults, the most important lever for economic development): and the World Wide Web, which will enable the kind of communication necessary to effectively and quickly share new resources . . . ." The Process

You will identify what is unique about your school and community through class discussion and brainstorming.

You will research past and present photographers online to gain an appreciation of the role of photography in society.

You will use Adobe PhotoShop to edit and create images suitable for posting to the school web page.

You will post your images on the Virtual School and Community page on the school web site to share them with the public.

You will post your images in a gallery of student work located on our school website entitled
