Teens Succeed

This is a Digital Photography Project for
Grades 9 - 12.

West Boylston High School, West Boylston, Massachusetts

  • The project goal is  to display digital photographs and images to give the viewer a look into the lives,  school, community, and reactions to current events as seen through the eyes of WBHS students.

  • There are two parts to the project.
Virtual School and Community gives the viewer a look at the West Boylston community and nearby resources.
Teens Succeed in a World Of Need showcases the positive things teens do in the community.

  • The project is located in the curriculum assuming that students have already mastered basic knowledge of digital cameras, elements of design, editing tools in Adobe PhotoShop, and building and editing web pages in Microsoft Front Page.

  • This project is an opportunity for students to use these tools to express themselves as contributing members of society and as artists.

  • Students are on the cutting edge of technology and all it can do.

  • Students have access to global communication on the World Wide Web.

  • Students have the potential to document, educate, entertain and provide a unique view of the world.
