The National Honor Society is sponsors our annual food drive for the Worcester County Food Bank. The drive takes place Monday through Friday, during the week of Valentine's Day. This is a school wide community service project for all students in grades 6-12.
If you are new to the food drive, it is very easy to participate by encouraging your homeroom (high school=first period class) to bring in cans and non-perishable food (no glass)
The NHS does not accept single packets of food, like individual teabags or single granola bars.
We are asking each homeroom teacher to do the following:
Bring in food each day during the food drive week.
Listen to the announcements each day when a student will give the totals brought in for that day.
The winner of the homeroom who brought in the most cans gets a free breakfast.
Please let us know if you have and concerns or questions. Thanks for all your help!
National Honor Society and Mr. Salmonsen
THANKS FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION!
