"An artist is a dreamer consenting to dream of the actual world" ~George Santayana

The National Art Honor Society meets Friday mornings before school twice a month at 6:50.

These Pictures were taken of NAHS members helping out at YOUTH ART MONTH

To be inducted in the NAHS, a student must maintain an 86 or better average and demonstrate characteristics of worthy character.

Every student inducted into the National Art Honor Society is inspired to think creatively and put their best effort into everything they do. They must contribute artistically to their community to make their world a better place. At West Boylston, we have high hopes for our NAHS members.

Claytime

Once or twice a year, our members go to Claytime and then auction them off at the art shows held at West Boylston High. The money then goes to a chosen charity.

New members recite a personally selected quote before lighting candles at the induction ceremony in April.

NAHS Trip

On June 9, 2011 the NAHS students took a trip to Boston. They went to the Museum of Fine Arts to take a look at all of the amazing art that was in the museum. One of the exhibits was glass by Chihuly. Seeing the art was really enjoyable. After visiting the museum, NAHS students went to Quincy Market. Then they went to see the Blue Man Group. It was a thrilling show. While still in Boston they went to Fire and Ice to eat dinner. Everyone that went on the trip had an amazing time!
