This year, our school's drama class put on a play for the book
'Pay it Forward' by Catherine Ryan Hyde, which
was our most recent summer reading book. It's about a young boy who comes up
with the idea to 'pay it forward'. This means
that you do one nice thing for someone, and instead of doing something nice back
for you, they have to 'pay it forward' by doing
something nice to three more people.
Each student chose a character from the book, and acted out a skit on how they
interpreted that character.
Everyone did an amazing job. The play was funny at some parts and sad at others,
but the whole thing was extremely entertaining,
and they did a wonderful job putting it together.
